Dr. Thomas Kreiliger has been a project- / program-manager for many years in the domain of IT security. He started his broad education at ETH Zurich with a Master in Physics and continued with a PhD degree in experimental physics, studying semiconductor materials for X-ray detectors. Already then, he had the role of a central coordinator within the international network of collaborating research institutes.
Following up he has worked in an IT consulting company as a consultant, mainly for different Swiss national security organizations. Especially in the early phases of projects he wrote studies and requirements, conducted technology- and market analyses for public procurements, as well as mediated between the involved stakeholders to gain understanding and acceptance among themselves.
The mandates often included technical skills in network security, especially in mostly isolated networks, as well as systems for command & control and reconnaissance (C4ISTAR). Besides that he gained gradually more responsibility within the fast growing company. During the last years he was part of the leadership team of the company while still responsible for conducting large projects and programs as well as ensuring quality assurance of mandates to the customers.
His main areas of expertise are:

- Initialization of large projects, with technology- and market-analyses
- Public procurement, provider management of individual and standard products
